We're excited to have you join us. It's the perfect time to dive into campus life and kickstart your academic journey.
New Student Orientation supports you and your families through finding your path and becoming successful and lifelong members of the Evergreen community. A team of dedicated staff, faculty, and students is here to help you on your journey. Our goal is to support you in navigating Evergreen, thriving in college, experiencing the community, and getting a better understanding of the academic experience on campus.
By the end of the New Student Orientation, students will:
- Understand academic requirements, set educational goals, and identify resources to support their success
- Become familiar with college facilities and student success services while connecting with classmates, faculty, and staff
- Learn about their rights and responsibilities within the college community and explore strategies for personal growth and academic success, gaining confidence to navigate their college experience
Plan for Your Arrival
Whether you're joining Evergreen for the first time, transferring from another institution, or returning to continue your journey, New Student Orientation (NSO) is an important step toward your success. Learn about campus resources, explore opportunities, and build connections to help you feel at home at Evergreen.
- Check Your Evergreen Student Email: Look for your New Student Orientation invitation and important updates starting November 1
- Check Your Student Portal: View your registrations for all new student events, including the New Student Preparatory Session and New Student Orientation starting November 1

Your Zoom link will be included in your orientation announcement and reminder email.
Dates and times can change due to unforeseen circumstances. The Evergreen community will be updated and email will be sent to Evergreen student email accounts.
