Driving Directions

  • From I-5, use the right 2 lanes to take exit 132 if coming from the south or 132B if coming from the north towards S 38th St.
  • Keep left, follow signs for WA-16 W/Gig Harbor/Bremerton.
  • Keep right to continue on Exit 1A, follow signs for Sprague Ave and merge onto S Sprague Ave.
  • Travel down Sprague Ave to 6th Ave.
  • Turn right onto 6th Avenue.
  • Travel down 6th Avenue to the corner of 6th & M Street.
  • Turn right into The Evergreen State College Tacoma parking lot.
  • Student parking is free.

Transit Directions

Bus Routes
  • Take Pierce Transit Route 1 (6th Avenue–Pacific) and get off at M Street
  • We’re also just a couple of blocks away from the 11 and the 102 routes
Light Rail
  • The T-line light rail 6th Ave exit is one block from Evergreen Tacoma
  • The Tacoma General stop is also only a few blocks away
