Certificate Cost and Aid

Learn about costs and financial aid for Professional and Continuing Education

Financial Aid Eligibility

Certificates are eligible for a variety of financial aid options. Your student status and the number of credits you enroll in will determine your financial aid eligibility. Academic certificate courses are subject to the same financial aid policies as other courses and programs at Evergreen.

Admitted Students

If you are a fully admitted student seeking a bachelor's degree in addition to a certificate, you are eligible for state/federal financial aid.

You can use your financial aid toward academic certificate courses when you take at least 6-credits per quarter. If you are working full-time, you can file an "extenuating circumstances" letter to explain that you may be working less or going through other life changes.

Veterans Benefits

Veterans and their dependents may be eligible for benefits that cover tuition. The Veterans Resource Center provides resources and guidance for veterans and their dependents.

Non-Admitted Students

Non-Admitted Students are not eligible for state/federal financial aid at Evergreen, but other aid options are available. Non-admitted students pay full tuition rates according to the costs per credit earned.

Admitted students are not subject to PaCE tuition rates. The tuition rates listed on this page are a part of your Evergreen tuition.

Non-Admitted Students

For non-admitted students to calculate the cost of a certificate, determine your Washington state resident status and the number of credits you intend to earn per quarter. Washington state residents pay less per credit than residents of other states.

Visit Registration and Records for information about establishing or documenting residency, and Tuition and Fees for current tuition rates and deadlines.

Academic Certificates
