Academic Certificate Enrollment
Steps to enroll in Evergreen's academic ‘credit-bearing’ certificates.
1. Complete the Online Enrollment Form

Evergreen does not require a full application for most academic certificates. Enrollment begins in May for certificate programs starting in Fall Quarter. All students, including current Evergreen students, must complete this form by the appropriate deadline.
Enrollment Deadline: The 2nd Friday of the last quarter of the certificate.
2. Register for Classes
Select the process that applies to you
Non-Admitted Students
Complete the Special Student Registration Form, found on the Non-Admitted Students page, and email it to registration@evergreen.edu.
Admitted Students
If you're an admitted student, you'll sign up for certificate courses through the regular registration process with Registration and Records.
Activate Your Evergreen Student Account
Within one week of your completed registration, you will receive a message in your personal email. This email will contain steps to activate your My Evergreen account. Follow the instructions provided in your welcome email to complete activation. If you do not see this email, check your junk mail folder.
Activate your account to:
- Check registration details
- Pay tuition and fees
- Access course resources
- Participate in evaluations
After activation, all correspondence with the college will be through your Evergreen email.

Earning an academic certificate at Evergreen is a valuable investment in your future. Costs will depend on your student status and the number of credits you enroll in.
