Exchange Programs
Exchange programs allow Evergreen students and students at "sister schools" to pay their regular home tuition and then enroll at the partner institution for up to one academic year. Students pay for their own travel and living expenses overseas.
Agreements allow a bilateral exchange, space may be limited depending on the number of applicants.

CIEL Domestic Exchanges
The Evergreen State College is a member of the Consortium for Innovative Environments in Learning (CIEL). This membership offers Evergreen students the opportunity to study for a limited time and under limited conditions at one of 12 other member colleges and universities around the U.S. For more information about specific CIEL opportunities, email studyabroad@evergreen.edu.
UW Jackson School of International Studies
The Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington, Seattle, offers Evergreen juniors and seniors a chance to spend one year in the program, focusing on regional area studies. Students earn 12-18 quarter credits each quarter, depending on class selection. Evergreen can only recommend a small number of students to this program, so it is competitive, with applications due each March for the following year.
