Applying for Jobs
Evergreen graduates are all over our community as community leaders, activists, teachers and educators, lawyers, policy makers, writers, artists, and more.
Ask your faculty and advisors to review your application materials and give you feedback before submitting your application. Your mentors can help you translate the skills you learned at Evergreen into the workforce.
Past employers aren't the only references you can use. Faculty and advisors are great professional and character references since they know your work the best and can speak to your work ethic, communication, collaboration, and other skills.
Applying to Graduate School
Recent Evergreen graduates have been accepted to Brown, Colombia, Cornell, University of Washington, New York University, and Evergreen.
Every school and graduate program is different and will have different requirements and deadlines, make sure to review each program carefully.
Connect with your faculty and staff mentors about providing letters of recommendation. Give them time to write something that really highlights your achievements and ask them at least a month in advance.
