About Law, Government, and Public Policy 

Our classes and programs provide an introduction to legal issues in a variety of areas from Indian law to public law, while many programs explore the public policy implications of challenging issues such as climate change or immigration. Thanks to our location in the state capital many students arrange internships with state or local government agencies or apply for positions with the legislative internship program organized by the state legislature. These programs will help you gain the critical thinking, analysis and teamwork skills needed to be successful in law school, graduate school or when preparing for employment in the public sector.
