Test Drive the MPA Program
Try an MPA class
Earning credit as a Special Student is a great way to try out the MPA program and get a preview of how we've designed a master's degree to fit within your life to meet your career and academic goals. Attend a course that meets once per week for the quarter, or experience an intensive weekend elective.
Non-Admitted Students (Special Students)
If you have a bachelor's degree you can take 8 MPA elective credits per quarter. Up to 12 credits total will count toward your MPA degree if you are admitted to the program.
Current Evergreen undergraduate students are able to register for MPA elective courses with faculty approval, and will earn undergraduate level credit.
Registration for MPA electives and concentrations opens one week after current graduate students on a space-available basis. Detailed information is on our MPA Registration page.
We encourage you to review our MPA catalog and MPA course syllabus page to learn more about the courses we offer and what to expect from our program.
If you have further questions about MPA Special Student (Non-Admitted) Registration, please contact the Program Assistant.
