Aubrey is finishing their Bachelors in Science with a focus in zoology. Throughout their time at Evergreen, they have completed multiple ILC projects, applying their knowledge of animal sciences in different fields of interest.

"As a sophomore, I explored honeybee behavior in an experimental hive that I designed and fabricated to induce desirable self-grooming and immune traits to be spread to surrounding populations. Though my experiment was not entirely successful and my colony did not survive the winter, I didn't let it discourage me from trying to apply more of what I've learned. As my senior capstone project, I explored museum curation and systematics by reorganizing Evergreen's fluid-preserved icthyology (fish) collection, collecting and preserving specimens of my own, and creating an open-access digital gallery for anyone to learn about the contents of the collection."
