Production Support
Production Requests
Requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance from the date of the event.
Production Request Form: for ALL types of production including: on-campus, in-person support for sound reinforcement, projection, recording, and broadcasting – and webinars, Zoom meetings, web-based recording, and other remote support – and assistance in recording or crafting video content, especially complex content creation.
Event Support
The first step in requesting support is to submit a Production Request Form. Once your request has been received, a producer will follow up quickly to confirm details and ask questions. Depending on the complexity of the request, a meeting may be requested. If an estimate of costs is needed, one can be provided after your production request is received.
Please submit your request to Electronic Media (EM) as soon as general event information (date, scope, and scale) are known. Support exists on a first-come, first-served basis, especially under the limited bandwidth of pandemic conditions. It is helpful to be aware of your event as far in advance as possible, even if details are not finalized.
Post-Production
Most of EM's video and audio editing is done by student workers and interns with support from producers and other staff. Our standard turnaround time is two weeks, though most projects are done much more quickly. If needed, faster turnaround times may be available at a charge; please contact our production team for more info.
For more complex content creation, please contact the Electronic Media production team at emproductions@evergreen.edu.
Student Groups
Remember that your advisor must be a part of any request made by a student group! Please include their name on your request.
Charges
For non-academic internal clients, subsidized production support costs are charged to the requesting work group. A budget number must be provided in advance of support.
Depending on staffing bandwidth and Academic requests may not have associated costs, but are subject to approval by the Deanery. Multi-program requests are strongly encouraged.
