Hiring Forms and Procedures

Before You Recruit

Call Human Resources Services as soon as you know you need to recruit a new employee. We’ll talk about what you need and put together a job description.

Once the description is finalized and classification is determined, then recruitment may be able to begin. We'll work with you to help you get the right person for the right job: coordinating outreach, reviewing questions, selecting a committee, collecting applications, and more.

Bringing a New Staff Member On Board

When you've got someone, talk to us about salary, start date, and any other issues. Work with us to make sure everything's in order before you make the offer.

Before your new employee starts, go through the New Hire Checklist (Word). It covers what you need to do beforehand, on the first day, and in the first week.

Student and Temporary Hiring

You'll need to complete an Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF).
