Certificates at Evergreen
Our certificate programs are part of a designed learning experience that allows participants to meet their educational and professional goals. These certificate programs require between 12 and 45 credits.
Academic Certificates are comprised of courses and coordinated studies programs that are offered as part of the regular curriculum leading to a degree. Evergreen is creating opportunities for students to earn certificates along the way to obtaining a degree.
Professional Certificates are comprised of a sequence of professional studies and workforce development learning experiences. These certificates are planned in partnership with external organizations and offer continuing education units for individuals toward specific careers and professional fields.
Evergreen is broadening its educational offerings to meet professional needs within our community that can be planned and delivered in partnership with other organizations or agencies. Degree-seeking students at Evergreen may register for professional certificate programs; however, will not earn academic credit toward a degree.
