Get Fresh Air and Exercise at Evergreen
There are so many opportunities to savor the great outdoors right on the Evergreen Olympia Campus—and even more in the surrounding areas. Here are just a few of the options you can explore! You'll find outdoor activities to explore and equipment available to meet your needs.
We Are On Water
With 3,000 feet of unspoiled natural shoreline, there’s plenty to do at the Evergreen beach. Grab a kayak or paddleboard and explore Eld Inlet and the surrounding waters, hunt for shells or just enjoy a moment of tranquility watching the local birds and wildlife.
Running, Hiking and Walking
Run or walk on the 400-meter cinder track or take a hike and explore the large network of forested trails which lead through various stages of forest development as well as paths to the Evergreen Beach. Who knows what you will find!
Most outdoor activities are free and open to the public.
Visitors pay for campus parking on weekdays. You can also bus or bike to the Olympia Campus.
