La’Keisha “KeWee” Roselle serves as the Program Lead for Liberation Scholars within Academic & Career Advising at The Evergreen State College, where she supports legally liberated and system-impacted students as they navigate higher education, career development, and successful reentry. Through holistic, student-centered advising, she helps students build on their strengths, overcome barriers, and create pathways toward academic achievement, meaningful careers, and long-term success.
A graduate of The Evergreen State College and co-founder of the Freedom Education Project Puget Sound (FEPPS), KeWee has helped build and lead Evergreen's Liberation Scholars program, contributing to one of the nation's emerging models for supporting formerly incarcerated and system-impacted students in higher education. Through Liberation Scholars, she works collaboratively across campus and with community partners to strengthen student support, expand opportunities, and foster a greater sense of belonging.
In addition to her work at Evergreen, KeWee is the co-founder of The Black Rose Collective and The Kindred Light Initiative, where she develops healing-centered educational initiatives that strengthen communities, foster belonging, and advance liberation. Grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience, she is committed to ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
