I am a Pacific Northwest native that hails from Olympia, Washington. I am a proud Evergreen State College and Goddard College Alumni. My partner and I live only miles away from Evergreen and are active in our community.
I have spent my entire higher education and professional career supporting education throughout the region, including in non-profit, K-12, alternative, holistic, higher education, and democratic education sectors. I believe in the transformative power of learning. It has transformed who I am and who I want to serve in my community. I care deeply about students and who they are as people, learners, and contributors to the world. In serving students I hope to support them in finding their own voice, their own direction, and their commitment to themselves and those around them.
I believe every student’s journey is unique, and the lived experience of everyone is valuable.
