Scholarships at Evergreen helped make it possible for me to focus fully on my education.

I chose Evergreen because it is LGBTQIA‑friendly, local, and offers strong academic programs. 

Some of the things I love most about studying at Evergreen include presenting at NICWA conferences nationwide, learning traditional Indigenous art forms, and gaining knowledge of sustainable business concepts and practices. I am especially proud to be involved in campus communities and activities such as the BIPOC & LGBTQ+ Intersectional Support Services (BLISS) team, the Student Equity and Arts Lounge (SEAL), the House of Welcome, and the Tunes 4 Trans event.

After Evergreen, I hope to continue building on the LGBTQIA and Indigenous Rights movements and to find a career in the public or nonprofit sector that involves helping others.
