Web Design I

Learn the fundamentals of web design with HTML and CSS. We'll learn to code web sites directly, applying best practices for accessibility, visual communication, and good design. We'll focus on layout and text handling, and we'll learn the fundamentals of responsive layout techniques.

This course is repeated Fall and Winter quarters. Students should not register for more than one quarter of Web Design but may be interested to continue with more advanced work in Web Design II in spring quarter. This course is offered through Complete Online Learning. This is the first of four courses that compose the Web Design Certificate.
