Paul Pham's background is in distributed, parallel systems and quantum computing. He is currently working on engineering web and internet technologies to serve communities and create fun, compelling experiences. Current projects allow students to serve real-world users in two ways: refining and publicly launching a final project website from the Student-Originated Software program, and programming and understanding a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). Projects of the second type include private artificial intelligence self-hosting for the Evergreen and Olympia communities, and sequencing genomes to aid in bioinformatics research.
