Supervision Essentials

Designed for people who are planning to or who have recently transitioned into supervisory or management roles, this course covers the essential skills every leader needs. Effective decision making, professional communication, managing people, organizational skills and record keeping are among the topics covered. The course includes both weekly class meetings on Zoom and asynchronous instruction using the Canvas. This class will meet synchronously for 2 hours and will include 2 hours of asynchronous instruction per week. Students should expect additional homework during the week.
