We will investigate the story of human history with a focus on global humanities. This course will feature select academic disciplines as lenses to view particular threads of human activities to tell the story of how we have evolved, migrated, warred, created human cultures, made art & music, governed ourselves, and invented things. This course will examine the story of the old world from multiple cultural perspectives, including an investigation of Indigenous North America before, during, and after early colonization. All levels. 4 credits. Online (has synchronous and asynchronous components). Required class meeting Mondays 6-9:30 p.m. via Zoom.
