EnviroMedia is a media arts program focused on environmental themes and sustainable practices, encouraging students to innovate across media forms, including analog and digital photography, documentary and experimental film, sound art, interactive media, and installation. It emphasizes the history of environmental representation in media arts, theoretical foundations of eco-centric art, and debates on sustainability in art creation. Through lectures, workshops, and projects, it aims to prepare students as pioneers at the nexus of media arts and environmentalism. The course is designed not just to inform but to inspire--challenging students to think critically and creatively about their role as artists in a rapidly changing ecological landscape.
