Black History and Culture I: Ancient Kemetic/ Egyptian Studies

Part 1 focuses on Maat (truth, justice, and cosmic order) as the core of Kemetic/Ancient Egyptian worldview and civilization. It examines philosophy, history, and wisdom literature, through selected texts: The Husia: The Sacred Wisdom of Ancient Egypt by Maulana Karenga and Tales of Ancient Egypt by Roger Green. It offers a strong foundation in Classical African thought, and world view emphasizing ethical and social principles and demonstrates learning through the production of a series of stories about leadership  and global citizenship  based on Maatian  principles.
