College Work Calendar Dates

Student Work Hours and Dates for the 2022-23 Academic Year

Students must be currently registered for a minimum of 4 undergraduate or 2 graduate credits to hold a student position.
Work weeks are calculated from start of day Sunday through end of day Saturday.

When classes are in session each quarter students may work up to 19 hours a week with Work Study. Non-Work Study students can work up to 20 hours a week.

When classes are NOT in session, students may work up to 40 hours a week.

Note: Work Study positions run yearly from September 16 -  June 15. Evergreen does not have a Summer Work Study program for this academic year.

When entering student jobs into the EPAF system for the school year the dates should normally be September 16th, 2022 - June 15th, 2023. Some exceptions for the June 16-30 work period are allowed if the student is not using a work study award.

Fall Quarter:
(19/20 hour limit)
September 28 - December 18

(40 hour limit)
Before and During Orientation Week: September 19 - 23
Thanksgiving Break: November 21- 25
Evaluation and Break Weeks: December 12 - January 8

Winter Quarter:
(19/20 hour limit)
January 9 - March 19

(40 hour limit)
Evaluation and Break Weeks: March 20 - April 2

Spring Quarter:
(19/20 hour limit)
April 3 - June 9

(40 hour limit)
Evaluation Week: June 12 - 16

Summer Quarter:
(40 hour limit)
Beginning Summer Break Week: June 17 - June 25

(20 hour limit - for students attending summer)
June 26 - September 3

Exceptions:

(40 hour limit for all)
1st Session Evaluation Week: July 31 - August 4

(40 hour limit for all)
2nd Session and Full Session Evaluation and Break Week: September 4 - 8

Summer Quarter: If a student will be returning in the Fall, they will remain in student worker status for the entire Summer and may work up to 40 hours per week. Though, students registered half time or more for both Summer sessions, are limited to 20 hours per week for the quarter when classes are in session.
