Academic Certificate Enrollment
How to enroll
Follow these steps to enroll in an academic certificate. You do not have to be admitted to Evergreen to enroll.
Step 1: Complete online enrollment form
Evergreen does not require a full application for academic certificate. Please declare your intent to earn a certificate in the enrollment form.
All students, including current Evergreen students, must complete this form no later than 2nd Friday of the first quarter of the certificate.
Step 2: Pay enrollment fee
After completing your enrollment form, you'll be prompted to pay a non-refundable enrollment fee. The amount you'll pay depends on your enrollment status at Evergreen:
- $30 for admitted, degree-seeking students
- $60 for non degree-seeking students
Step 3: Register for classes
If you're an admitted, degree-seeking student, use the regular registration process to sign up for certificate courses. If you need assistance, contact Registration and Records.
If you're a non-admitted student:
- Complete the special student registration form.
- Submit completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once registered, you'll receive a my.evergreen.edu account and an Evergreen email address. We will send an email to the address you provide on the "Special student registration form" with information to activate your Evergreen account. This email will be sent within one week of submitting the registration form. If you do not see this email, please check your junk folder.

- Check registration details
- Pay tuition fees
- Access course resources
- Participate in evaluations
- and more
After activating your account, all correspondence from the college will be sent to your Evergreen email.
