Over the course of the fall quarter, students will engage in writing practices that support their development as reflective learners. Required readings will introduce students to seminar to strengthen their verbal communication skills and promote growth in higher order thinking, such as analyzing and synthesizing information and responding critically to texts. Students will also develop academic strategies needed to set and achieve learning goals and expand their awareness of support systems available within the college.

Students will receive two credits in reflective writing for the successful completion of this course.
