This course takes a multidisciplinary view of design and social justice to develop community action projects.  Using principles from the Design Justice Network, we'll use a transformative justice lens in our research and creative learning principles in our practice to co-design services and physical spaces in the local Tacoma community. We will work closely with community partners on a range of projects that promote civic engagement. Projects may be social services, art installations, events, or physical spaces.
