In this Soy Bilingüe course, students will actively engage in teaching and facilitating lessons on supporting the linguistic and cultural development of young children. Building on foundational knowledge, students will take turns leading discussions, presenting lesson plans, and sharing insights on bilingual education methods. They will be responsible for researching, designing, and delivering instructional sessions that promote cultural competence and bilingual fluency. By teaching each other, students will deepen their understanding of bilingual early childhood education methods, acculturation, cultural transmission, and language acquisition.
Offering is on Weekends Via Zoom.
