Today’s business firms are radically different from the organizations of the past. Organizational leaders face unprecedented challenges (i.e., technological, global, political, legal, generational, etc.). Therefore, organizational leaders must have the skills and ability to change, adapt, and create positive, resilient, and nimble workplace cultures. Topics covered in this class include strategic thinking, organizational culture, creativity and innovation, change management, resiliency, and organizational agility. This class teaches students to think critically, reflect, collaborate, and learn through individual and group activities, including assessments, cases, discussions and seminars, and final paper research and presentation.

This class is an online course, with class meetings conducted via Zoom on Saturdays and learning activities completed through Canvas.

This course is one of three core courses that comprise the Transformative Leadership Certificate. Core courses and the required 8 credits of electives of this certificate can be taken in any order.
