Interpersonal skills are the behaviors and strategies a person uses to engage and interact with others effectively. They are the key to developing productive relationships with diverse people, contributing to a positive and healthy work environment, and enhancing the workforce's well-being. This course will cover topics discussed, including self-awareness, emotional intelligence, conflict management, and collaboration, and how to use these skills successfully in the workplace as a team member and leader. This course uses seminars, group activities, reflective assignments, and a final research paper to help students bridge theory and practice to develop strong interpersonal skills.

This class is an online course, with learning activities completed through Canvas and class meetings conducted via Zoom on Saturdays.

This course is one of four secondary elective offerings which comprise the Transformative Leadership Certificate. Courses can be taken in any order.
