This program will serve as an introduction to oil painting through an investigation of the figure. Emphasis will be placed on developing technical skills through observational painting, while focusing on color theory. Paintings will be done from life through figure painting sessions.This weekend intensive is aimed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities they may have missed during the pandemic. It is designed for students who have a strong work ethic and self-discipline and who are willing to work long hours in the studio on campus in company with their fellow students.
