Our focus will be exploring Olympia and Evergreen as artists, writers, and readers with visual art and excerpts from texts that motivate us to think about space, place, and meaning. You’ll get a dynamic introduction to what it’s like to study interdisciplinary arts and humanities at Evergreen. You’ll be introduced to the campus studios, library resources, and local wonders. Throughout the week, students will read, discuss, and create works that respond to place and memory, patterns of life and thought—perfect for students interested in the visual arts, creative writing, literature, and humanities.
