When an emergency happens, the best Go Bag is the one that is packed, practical, and ready to grab. In this interactive how-to class, Jackie LaVerne, our Evergreen Emergency Program Specialist and CERT Program Manager, will walk participants through the essentials of creating a personalized emergency Go Bag for home, work, school, or travel.

Learn what to include, what to leave behind, how to organize your supplies, and how to build a useful kit on a realistic budget and with what you have already! We will discuss personal medications, important documents, emergency communications, food and water, clothing, first aid, accessibility needs, pet supplies, and those small comfort items that can make a difficult situation easier.

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and discover how simple it can be to take the first step toward greater preparedness.
