TOP Fall Day Trips

Explore some of Washington's beautiful trails, forests, lakes, and bike paths with the Outdoor Program this fall. Whether you're looking for a relaxing walk through the woods, a challenging viewpoint hike, or a scenic bike ride, these trips are a great way to get outside, meet other students, and experience the Pacific Northwest.

No prior experience is required. Our trip leaders will provide transportation, guidance, and a welcoming environment for adventurers of all skill levels.

Trips Happening This Quarter

Capitol State Forest Day Hike | October 10

  •  Explore miles of scenic forest trails just outside Olympia. We'll spend the day hiking through towering evergreens, enjoying fresh air, and discovering one of the region's most accessible outdoor recreation areas.

Millersylvania Lake Day | October 16

  •  Join us for a relaxing day at Millersylvania State Park featuring lakeside hiking, lawn games, and paddleboarding. This is a perfect trip for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors at a slower pace while spending time with friends.

Rattlesnake Ledge Day Hike | October 25

  •   Hike one of Washington's most iconic trails and take in sweeping views from the top of Rattlesnake Ledge overlooking Rattlesnake Lake. This popular hike offers a rewarding climb and spectacular scenery.

Willapa Trail Bike Ride | November 6

  •  Ride a section of one of Washington's longest rail-trails and pedal through forests, farmland, and small communities on our journey toward Rainbow Falls. This trip is a great introduction to bike touring and long-distance trail riding.

For the Willapa Trail Bike Ride, bikes may be available through the Outdoor Program. Contact us in advance to reserve a bike and arrive early for equipment checkout and fitting.
