As The Evergreen State College's student literary art journal, Slightly West exists to uplift
student creative expression by publishing an annual collection of original written works and
visual media. Students with new or previously made artwork, poetry, writing, and
photography are encouraged to submit their work for an anonymous peer review. A selection
of works will be published in an anthology-style literary journal, showcasing the unique
perspectives of our student body. Slightly West provides a professional publishing platform
for students to practice preparing quality work for submission, gain experience in peer
review for other artists, and work with book printers during the publishing process.
