Nature Appreciation
Slow down, look closer, and connect with the natural world through the Outdoor Program's Nature Appreciation series. These activities are designed to help you spend time outdoors, practice mindfulness, explore creativity, and build a deeper connection to the landscapes around campus.
Throughout the quarter, we'll offer a variety of guided experiences, including meditation, nature journaling, cyanotype printmaking, nature imprints, and blind contour drawing. No artistic or outdoor experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to spend time outside.
In addition to our nature activities, join us for casual campus walks as we explore places like the Organic Farm, the beach, the disc golf area, and the Farm Loop Trail. Whether you're looking for a break from class, a chance to meet new people, or an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Evergreen's campus, there's something for everyone.
