???? Want to learn how to put out a fire safely? ????

Join The Evergreen State College and the McLane Black Lake Fire Department for a Live-Fire Extinguisher Training at the fire department’s training facility. We’ll begin with a quick, interactive classroom session covering fire basics, extinguisher types, and when not to fight a fire.

Then it’s time for hands-on live-fire practice, where participants will extinguish controlled flames under the guidance of professional firefighters. No experience is needed, just closed-toe shoes and a willingness to learn! Registration is required, and participation is limited to 40 people.
