Fiber Arts Showcase

In this certificate program, the art of weaving was taught from shearing the sheep to the finished shawl.

We explored texture, color and design, where the single yarn was transformed into a weaving of possibility. We learned patterns that speak to the soul, created colors that embraced our emotions, and brought pieces of woven art to life.  We learned the Indigenous weave style of the Coast Salish and wove our modern ideas within it.
