What You'll Learn

In this certificate, students explore and learn how to apply an integrated approach to sustainability assessment and reporting in enterprises in areas such as green business practices, energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and more. Gain knowledge and experience with a diversity of sustainability reporting tools through course content and applied project work.  

Certificate Coursework

This certificate consists of 18 undergraduate credits which must be taken in sequence.

Strategic Sustainability and Reporting Fundamentals - Winter Quarter, 6 credits*
Sustainability Reporting Tools - Spring Quarter, 4 credits
Sustainability Reporting Projects - Summer Quarter, 8 credits

*Students who have taken Introduction to Sustainability and Business may be eligible to waive 2 credits of Strategic Sustainability and Reporting Fundamentals. To request a waiver, please email certificates@evergreen.edu
