Paths at Evergreen
At Evergreen, we know you want to do your own thing – your Path is up to you. Paths at Evergreen combine multiple Fields of Study into a broader integrated curriculum.
You will chart your own Path as you dive deeper into what interests you and along the way you will have support from advisors and faculty to make sure you meet your goals for whatever comes next.

Your Path, Your Way
Select the educational opportunities that best meet your needs and wants as you move from Exploratory to Advanced study in one or more related Fields of Study. Your Path will be a combination of programs and courses that create an individual educational experience based on what you want to learn and where you want to go.
Exploratory (X)
Get a sense of the Path and its related Fields of Study. Explore major themes and prepare for further study in one or more related Fields.
Entry (E)
Develop foundational knowledge and skills in one or more of the Path’s related Fields.
Intermediate (I)
Build on prior learning and prepare for advanced study within the Path’s related Fields.
Advanced (A)
Deepen your knowledge within a Path’s related Fields and apply theory and practical processes to breakdown and organize complex information.
Adaptive Learning
Paths combine courses, programs, and even certificates to provide a variety of learning opportunities at different levels. If something is listed at more than one level, it is designed to accommodate learners at different levels or include learning opportunities for different fields based on level.
