2019 Faculty Voluntary Separation Incentive Plan

The College is offering an incentive to up to fifteen regular faculty members who currently hold continuing appointments at experience year 29 or above (during the 2018-19 academic year) and who voluntarily offer to retire or resign from the College between Sept 15, 2019 and June 15 2020, releasing their property right to employment at the College as regular faculty with a continuing appointment.

Full terms of this incentive are specified in the Memorandum of Understanding: 2019 Voluntary Separation Incentive Plan and the Voluntary Separation Incentive Application, Acknowledgment, Agreement, and Waiver.  Interested eligible faculty are advised to consult an attorney before completing this form and should read the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act of 1990 Disclosure Notice, available in the Provost’s office and sent to eligible faculty.

Applications will be accepted in the Provost’s Office between Friday May 31, 2019 and July 15, 2019 during business hours, in the order that they are received.  Applications received prior to May 31, 2019 will be marked as received at 8:00 am on May 31.
