Evergreen Recognized for Accelerating Changemakers

Last week The Evergreen State College Changemaker Lab was one of six institutions around the world to be recognized as a semi-finalist for the Ashoka U #MillionsofChangemakers award. 
 
The award recognizes initiatives that have significant potential to inspire innovative thinking if adopted broadly across higher education. The recognition comes from Ashoka U as part of its global #MillionsofChangemakers campaign. 

Evergreen’s Changemaker Lab was recognized for their work in team entrepreneurship education. “We’re thrilled to celebrate The Evergreen State College’s innovative approach to activating changemakers,” said Jessica Lax, Ashoka U’s lead on the campaign. “We look forward to sharing Evergreen’s approach with others.”
 
This commitment recognizes just a portion of Evergreen’s efforts to spark and accelerate changemaking on campus.
