Evergreen Presents a 2010 Public Candidate Forum

The Friends of the Evergreen Library, League of Women Voters- Thurston County, and Evergreen's Office of Governmental Affairs present the 2010 Fall Public Candidate Forum at The Evergreen State College for Thurston, Lewis and Mason County state legislative candidates.

Focusing on funding and policy issues facing the region, with an eye towards higher education, the forum will provide the opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and community members to hear from candidates for the Washington Legislature and to pose questions to candidates.

Format

All candidates will give an opening remark. After the opening remarks, all candidates will be asked a prepared question this will be followed by questions from the audience. Questions from the audience will be submitted on cards and edited and selected by the moderator. Each candidate will have the opportunity to answer the questions posed.
