Second Annual Art of Living Fundraiser October 10, 2010

Evergreen Celebrates Northwest Art and Culture at the Second Annual Art of Living Fundraiser for Evergreen Students on October 10, 11 a.m.

The auction event sponsored by the Washington State Employees Credit Union, Columbia Bank, Sans M. Gilmore, P.S. Inc., Pure Audio, and The Evergreen State College Foundation features gourmet delicacies, music by Ocho Pies, and the opportunity to bid on original art and exciting experiences from the Northwest and across the nation.

Silent and Live Auctions will include curated, original artwork in a variety of media from Cappy Thompson, Lynda Barry, Nikki McClure, Lynne Yamamoto, Andrea Wilbur-Sigo, Anna McKee, Janice Arnold, Susan Aurand, Marilyn Frasca, Jean Mandeberg and many other established artists.

The event will also include the opportunity for participants to bid on art experiences like studio tours, dining experiences, vacations, and more.

The first Art of Living in 2009 was a resounding success, raising more than $75,000 for direct student scholarship support.
