2008 Green Party Presidential Candidate, first African-American woman to represent Georgia in the House of Representatives, and relentless activist for social justice. Cynthia McKinney has been active in the Free Gaza Movement (which led to her being attacked and imprisoned by Israel) and was the subject of the documentary American Blackout, on voter disenfranchisement. She was recently awarded the Peace Through Conscience Award by the Munich American Peace Committee. 4:30 pm at The Evergreen State College’s Longhouse.
