Connecting With MiT

Learn how to connect with the Master in Teaching program at Evergreen and find out if it's right for you.

When you earn an MiT degree at Evergreen you will experience a full-time, cohort-based graduate education program that offers a Master in Teaching graduate degree and a recommendation for certification in the state of Washington. The program certifies prospective teachers in areas ranging from elementary education to secondary sciences, humanities, and arts.

2023-24 Cohort Application Cycle Closed

MiT is no longer accepting applications for the 2023-24 cohort.

Due to changes in the college, there are now two pathways to earn an MiT degree:

During 2023-24, MiT teacher candidates will participate in the EL Integration Pathway.

During 2022-23 and 2024-25, MiT teacher candidates will participate in the Community Teaching Pathway.
