Connecting With MiT
When you earn an MiT degree at Evergreen you will experience a full-time, cohort-based graduate education program that offers a Master in Teaching graduate degree and a recommendation for certification in the state of Washington. The program certifies prospective teachers in areas ranging from elementary education to secondary sciences, humanities, and arts.
Due to changes in the college, there are now two pathways to earn an MiT degree:
During 2023-24, MiT teacher candidates will participate in the EL Integration Pathway.
During 2022-23 and 2024-25, MiT teacher candidates will participate in the Community Teaching Pathway.
To learn more about the two pathways and when they are offered, please find more information in the Program Overview page.
The list of endorsements offered for the 2023-24 cohort has changed. See our full list of endorsements in the What You Can Teach page.
