Attending college in the United States can be a very exciting and rewarding experience. It can also be challenging at times. Please know that you are not alone. There are many supportive students, staff and faculty who can help answer your questions during your time at Evergreen.

International Student Orientation Events

Orientation events for International Students begin Friday, Sep 20 due to long flights to get here and get settled.  Here is a brief schedule to assist you.

Fri, Sept 20

Airport arrivals, pick-up, and early dorm check-ins.

Sat, Sept 21

Optional Shopping Day, to help get settled in your dorm room or apartment.

Meet at 10:00 AM in Seminar 2 Building, A-2105 to get started.

Bring your passport, bus money, and your address information.

Sun, Sept 22:

Optional Tour of Olympia, to help learn your way around downtown.

Meet 10:30 AM at the Main Bus Circle near Red Square to join in.

Bring your passport and bus money.

Monday, Sept 23:

Required International Student Orientation for all students.

Meet at 9:00 AM in Seminar 2 Building, B-1107.

Bring your passport, I-20/DS-2019, address information, phone numbers, and immunization form, if you have it.

Tue, Sept 24 –

Sun, Sept 29:

Sep 24-29 is the beginning of the regular orientation days for all students, including you. 

US students will start arriving on campus on Tuesday, the 24th.

HOT TOPICS Conversation and “How Are Things Going?”

Meet from 3:00-5:00 in Library 2207.

Bring your questions from Orientation Week!
