Free Store

Everyone in the Evergreen community is familiar with the three R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle) but “reuse” is frequently the one least utilized. The Free Store is helping to change that.  Operated by volunteers from the Sustainability House and other students, the Free Store is located in the Housing Community Center. Items often donated and available for free include clothing, books, CDs, kitchen utensils, and shoes, but include much more!

Hours of operation vary each quarter since it is a volunteer-run program. Want it to be open more frequently? Volunteer a few hours and encourage others to do the same!
