The Evergreen State College Financial Aid staff is here to help you meet your educational goals as an undergraduate, and when you are admitted into a Masters program at Evergreen we will continue to support needs related to your education.
Graduate Studies Scholarships
The Master in Teaching (MIT), Master of Environmental Studies (MES) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) programs each have their own scholarships forms for a variety of awards.
The Financial Aid Process for Graduate Students
Our priority deadline is February 1st each year. After February 1st, awards are given on a first come, first serve basis.
- Get your FSA ID and password ready. If you have not set one up, here is a helpful step by step guide: How to Create an FSA ID.
- Complete the FAFSA online.
Make sure to add our school code: 008155.

Financial Aid available to graduate students
As a graduate student you may qualify for an Unsubsidized Loan, a Graduate PLUS Loan, and/or a private 'alternative' loan. Loans vary in interest from 5% to 12% and may offer certain deferment options.
Eligible Washington State residents may be offered an Evergreen Need Grant
Americorps Education Awards
Your Financial Aid Office will certify AmeriCorps payment vouchers for graduate students who are currently enrolled at The Evergreen State College. This policy is consistent with eligibility requirements set forth by the Corporation for National Service.
