Science Stories
A Collaboration of Book Artists and Scientists
January 9, 2023 - March 24, 2023
Daniel J. Evans Library
This touring exhibit makes a final stop at Evergreen in winter 2023
Science Stories is a unique project that brings together Pacific Northwest scientists and book artists to create engaging and unique artists’ books that offer new ways to interpret science and to tell a story. We have divided the Science Stories projects into broad topics: water, ice, mountains, flora, fauna, and human health.
These pieces involving Evergreen faculty and faculty emeritus will be on display:
- A Tahoma Reliquary
- Bound/Unbounded Girdle-Bound Accordion Book
- Cirrus Clouds
- Enmeshed
- Hair Today Gone Tomorrow
- Pacific Northwest Native Plant Website and Magic Books
- The Willow and the Mountain
