Cali Ellis


Cali Mortenson Ellis teaches in the Master of Public Administration Program at The Evergreen State College. Cali received her PhD in Public Policy and Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2015. Cali teaches on state policymaking, research methods, and negotiation. She is an author of Why Leaders Fight (Cambridge University Press, 2015) and has published in the Journal of Applied Security ResearchPS: Political Science & PoliticsJournal of Homeland Security and Emergency ManagementInternational InteractionsEnterprise Development and Microfinance, and Michigan War Studies Review.
